About Me
I’m a designer, teacher, farmer, photographer and I’m always up for a great adventure. I go nearly everywhere with a Polaroid camera and some film. I wouldn't go anywhere without some good music to play on the way. And some days I think I could happily survive off of cereal and milk. I love the smell of old books, typography, gradients, dancing in the kitchen while making dinner (or any time really) and plan to hike every single National Park one day. I still think secret handshakes are cool. I think that the small everyday moments are more incredible than the every once-in-awhile spectacular moments. And I believe that ordinary everyday people can make extraordinary differences in the world.

My name is Kelly Knaga. I live in a house I'm fixin' up on an acre of land just outside of Chicago with my dog Wrigley. I’m also building a small urban farm with my awesome friend. And when I'm not workin' on the house or farming I draw, design, take pictures, paint, travel, design and build community gardens and teach undergrad design at Indiana University Northwest. I'm also on the Board of Directors for AIGA Chicago, EPIC (Engaging Philanthropy, Inspiring Creatives) and Stewart House Urban Farm & Gardens. I'm always up for collaboration projects + meeting new people! I selected a few of my favorite projects that I've worked on for this site. And you can see my latest hijinks on Flickr. You can also find me on Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter + Facebook.

Feel free to drop me a line if you are interested in working together or just want to say hello.

Thanks for your patience while I update the site!
